From the University of California San Diego, researchers have presented their finding which reveals that those people who eat chocolates more frequently tends to weigh less in comparison to those who consume it less.
The researchers had carried out a study on cholesterol lowering drugs that showed 1000 healthy adults on typical eating habits, which included their consumption of chocolates. The study represented that people who ate chocolate more frequently tended to eat more calories overall including saturated fats, comparing to those who consumed at fewer times. Even after the consumption difference it was laid out that these people who ate more chocolates tended to have lower body weight than the other group. Of course it also included their age and gender with the amount of exercise they carried out. Again it was also balanced with the fact of how often they ate chocolate, rather than the total amount that was linked to their weight.
The researchers stated that because of the antioxidants present in the chocolates it helps in keeping the blood pressure low and lower cholesterol. It also helps in reducing weight. The study also showed dark chocolates more favorable as they have more of flavonoids. But again it is also been advised to eat in moderation as not only chocolates anything in excess can be harmful. Congress despite being one of the strongest candidate, despite the charm and aggressiveness from the Congress youth power, Rahul Gandhi, despite a face and promises and efforts shown by Priyanka Gandhi that clearly had reflection of her grandmother’s Indira Gandhi, despite of woman power Sonia Gandhi addressing the people even after bad health, still loss badly in the elections.
Despite having the strongest factors, despite being a face that people like to hear and follow and admire yet Congress lost. No matter what ever promises the leaders of the party had done, the one place that they failed to secure their hold could also be that Congress did not represent any face that would have been in power if they win. At the end of the day its not Rahul’s charm or Priyanka’s promises or trust of Sonia Gandhi, for a voter its more important that if they are giving their vote than who is coming in power. And when Congress had not even announced any face yet how was it possible for the people to vote for an unidentified name that would be in charge of being in power.
Hence, after all the ‘efforts’ and all the ‘despite s’ Congress failed maybe on one ground and that they did not represent a face and name that could have won the trust of the voters that if in power it could have brought revolution and promising changes in their lives. The image of apple suffers a blow after protesters descend on Apple stores all around the world on worse labor conditions and negligence in service. Apple had made headlines in 2010 and 2011, related with explosions in factories and workers committing suicides. ‘The New York Times’ had recently laid out reports against Apple revealing workers working in the most deplorable conditions. The reports also showed recordings of workers who were suffering from injuries from repetitive motion and exposure to chemicals.
Although Apple’s spokesperson Steve Dowling had opposed the protests and the reports completely stating that they care about every worker in their world wide supply chain. He also added that not only the workers are treated with respect and dignity, but they also work and make use of environmentally responsible manufacturing process, where ever Apple products are made.
One of the protesters said that the purpose of the protest is just to assure that Apple hears the complaints and concerns of its customers, instead of neglecting it, the way they have been doing it for a long time now. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV.
During an argument between the members of Parliament, in Egypt, when one of the members an Islamic law maker insisted of taking a break from the debate to make a call for his prayers, the permission became the subject of controversy between the members as he had been refused to do anything like this in between of the debate, as it would disturb the progress of the verdict.
Even after ignoring the warning from Speaker of Legislature Saad Al Katani, MP Mamdouh Esmail still insisted on performing his Asr prayers. The subject of argument soon shifted course, after he had been rudely approached that if prayers are so much important then Mamdouh should leave the Parliament and attend the mosque nearby.
On refusal of permission of reading his prayers in the Parliament, MP Mamdouh left the assembly in protest, which led to controversies among the members. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV.
