The Indian Navy force has given training to 30 NCC students from Mumbai and Maharashtra. In the training, the students will be taught how to tackle water related disasters. The training is absolutely free of cost for these students other wise such trainings cost rupees 3 lakhs. Indian Navy force gave training to 30 NCC students at Navy Nagar headquarters. The training was related to water disaster management. Many times the city faces problems when there is heavy rainfall, flooding etc. The training was thus imparted so that these students would be helpful to people during such situations. One of the officials of Indian Navy force BK Patnaik informed that this kind of training costs Rs 3 lakhs. Appreciating Indian Navy forces’ initiative, the trainees also expressed their confidence and stated that with this training they can tackle water related disasters in the city.
