ACB creates 10-year record with 1316 offenses

In comparison to 2013, the Maharashtra State Anti-Corruption Bureau recorded 662 more cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The number of cases in 2014 is 1316, which is the highest in a decade. The cases include disproportionate assets and for misappropriation of government funds.

Last year the police dept. had recorded the highest number of cases while this year with 432 cases, the revenue dept. is the most corrupt.
