Though Shiv Sena and BJP ended bitter acrimony to come together post Maharashtra assembly elections, face off between both the parties has is far from over. This time there seems to be a war of words being exchanged by Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray and Mumbai BJP President and MLA Ashish Shelar over issue of LED lights on the street on Marine Drive. Terming the decision of changing the street light ‘reckless’, Aaditya Thackeray said the gold of Marive Drive is being robbed.
He questioned how the work was issued without calling for tenders. Going even tougher, the young Sena scion said that if the government thinks Marine Drive will become safer with the LED lights then they should first get them installed in Delhi.
