After the members of the Standing Committee meet raised voice against illegal hoardings across the city, NMMC started out a strenuous drive in prominent wards of the city and took action. Following the recent Standing Committee meet, NMMC Commissioner Vijay Nahata issued orders to all the ward offices of the city to take action against illegal hoardings. In Vashi, NMMC first targeted the Arenja Corner where advertisements were stuck on electricity poles. Next was near Abhudaya Bank, Mahatma Phule Chowk, Vashi Plaza and also near Centre one. Even Turbhe ward officer Ashok Madhvi accepted that there were many illegal hoardings in his ward and that action would be taken soon. With cameraperson Vinayak Dalvi, Archana Tripathi for NMTV news.
