Air India forced to ground one of its planes after crew spotted rats scurrying around the cabin, New Delhi

Air India had been forced to ground one of its flight after the crew spotted rats running all over the place. Presence of rats on plane struck panic regarding not only there’s a huge possibility of rodent infestation but also that the rats might chew on wires. If something like that happens then the pilots would no longer have any control on any system thus leading to a bigger disaster.

The Air India officials however stated that spotting rats on flights is something common and that it could happen anywhere in the world as it becomes easy for them to get inside flights. Similar cases had been reported earlier where flights had been cancelled after rodents spotted inside the plane. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
