Airoli MLA Sandeep Naik has been nominated to the Panel of Chairmen in the Maharashtra State Assembly. Known as “talika adhyakshpad” which translates to “Panel of Chairmen” Airoli MLA Sandeep Naik chairs the Vidhan Sabha monsoon session proceedings in the absence of the Speaker. The NCP party high commands nominated Sandeep Naik for the post. On his social media handles, after his first experience of chairing the state assembly monsoon session, Airoli MLA Sandeep Naik said that read, “I feel honored and humbled to have experienced the Chair of the Speaker of the Maharashtra State Assembly during the ongoing monsoon session, having been nominated as a member of Panel of Chairmen. It was an enlightening and learning experience for me. It reposes my faith in treading the path of doing public work and has inspired me to work even harder to live upto the expectations placed in me.” Speaking to NMTV, Airoli MLA Sandeep Naik said that this is an opportunity to learn.
Paying gratitude to his party leaders, Sandeep Naik said that he will ensure that this learning experience is further imbibed for more public work.
Airoli MLA Sandeep Naik has become the first MLA from Thane district to be nominated for this rare and prestigious honour, in clear appreciation of his work record and conduct as a legislator in the last 10 years.
