Algeria witnesses one of the worst airplane crash in its history leading to death of all on board except for one

For Algeria, airplane crash on Tuesday turned up to be one of the worst as none of the people on board survived except for one. All 102 people on board along with four crew member died and at the moment no information about the sole survivor has been disclosed by the authorities. The US built C-130 Hercules Transport crashed near the town of Ain Kercha, main city in Eastern Algeria. The plane was headed for Constantine. The airplane itself had broken down into three parts. The authorities as well as the locals have been trying to retrieve all the dead bodies but due to snow and harsh weather, it has been becoming more and more difficult to do their job. It was a military transport plane, so it was been concluded that the bodies of women and children that were retrieved so far could be of military families. The defense authority had laid out bad weather the cause for the plane to crash.

‘Unfavorable weather conditions and storms accompanied by snow in the region were behind the crash, and only 55 bodies had been retrieved so far due to the difficult conditions at the crash site’ as stated by the ministry. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
