ALL INDIA LANGUAGE MEET HELD IN MUMBAI

sahitya-sammelan-1The Maharashtra Rajya Hindi Sahitya Academy held the All India Language Sammelan which was presided over by the Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil and Mumbai Congress President Kripashankar Singh. The event saw the participation of many leaders from across the state. Also present during the event was Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil and Mumbai Congress President Kripashankar Singh and Nand Kishore Nautiyal, the working chairman of Maharashtra Rajya Hindi Sahitya Academy. Speaking to the media he stated that India today was facing the use of English language more and importance of regional languages going down. Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil spoke to NMTV News and stated that the sammelan is an effort to bring together the various languages of India under one performance.
