ARJUNA AWARD WINNER, KAMLESH MEHTA INAUGRATESD INDOOR SPORTS SPACE AT EUROSCHOOL

EuroSchool, Airoli inaugurated its Indoor sports space at the hands of Arjuna Award winner. 1985 Arjuna Award winner and Olympian Table Tennis Player, Kamlesh Mehta inaugurated Indoor sports space at EuroSchool, Airoli. For a change, the tennis player played a friendly match with 4 national and state level tennis players. It was a wonderful opportunity for the kids to play with him. Apart from the children, there was also something for the parents. The school held a forum meet with the tennis player for the parents to interact with him and select the right sports for their child. Kamlesh Mehta was immensely pleased with the facilities provided by the school. Not many of us would know that India has performed well in past years in Table Tennis. However, with cricket still being the most popular game of the country, tennis needs to be made an integral part of Indian sports culture.
