Cricket World Cup final match between Australia and New Zealand finally came to an end. There was a winning chance for both the team as both the teams were extremely strong and had a good hold of the game throughout the tournament. But the way the match had turned up was something that maybe nobody had thought of. New Zealand had batted first and rather surprising lost all its wickets making just 183 runs. With such a small target the Australians easily crushed the New Zealanders in the 33rd over itself at the lost of just three wickets and finally became the World Champion for the fifth time. Australian captain Michael Clarke had announced his retirement too as according to him it was the right time to retire.
Australia would be the only country that had managed five World Cup titles in cricket history. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
