The prospects of growing the party has always been hampered by the discord and disunity between Vijay Nahata and Vijay Chougule. However the New Year has taken this disunity in the party to another level altogether as an invite set tongues wagging of the growing differences between the factions.
THE CONTROVERSIAL INVITE THAT SIDELINED VIJAY NAHATA & VIJAY CHOUGULE
The invite was in regards to a blood donation camp organized to mark the inauguration of the newly renovated Shiv Sena headoffice at Vashi. The invite that specifies the names of Thane Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde and Thane MP Rajan Vichare shows the names of invitees as Vithal More, Dwarkanath Bhoir, Atul Kulkarni & Kishor Patkar. Sources say that these names are known as the “Third Thane Faction” as they have become the favorites of Thane leaders Eknath Shinde & Rajan Vichare that gave them the courage to sideline Vijay Nahata and Vijay Chougule.

SHIV SENA PARTY WORKERS’ MORALE HITS A NEW LOW AHEAD OF MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
Sources reveal that Shiv Sena party workers went to the extent of asking Eknath Shinde and Rajan Vichare to skip the event as their presence would further upset the party’s prospects ahead of the municipal polls. To save further embarrassment, the Shiv Sena party then finished the ceremony today itself in a low-key hush hush affair. Sources reveal that discord due to the incident has already created within the party has caused morale damage beyond repair. A price the party might likely pay in the upcoming municipal elections as well.
