BJP MLA Manda Mhatre Demands Accountability of Naik Performance In 15 Years

BJP MLA Manda Mhatre has learnt the art of launching a public attack on her arch rival Ganesh Naik and the NCP party in Navi Mumbai. If she is not questioning their intentions and public interest commitment, she demands answers on what the Naik ruled NCP has done for Navi Mumbai for the last 15 years. In her last MLA at Your Doorsteps campaign held in Nerul’s Gandhi Nagar, Manda Mhatre spoke with conviction of reasons why she is the common man’s MLA. After taking written letters of complaints from citizens, MLA Manda Mhatre assured that all complaints that she received will be address and action will be taken to bring relief to civic issues that haunt citizens of the area. In her speech, she took this as the ground for attacking Ganesh Naik ruled NCP. Not mentioning names, she told citizens of the area to remain vigilant as elections are coming closer and now politicians will come to them for votes while promising them the stars and the moon. She said, “There are those who have last the last elections and were missing from being with people for last 3 years. Now they are seen coming out again. She questioned what have these people done in the last 15 years?”

She added, “When Tukaram Mundhe (former NMMC Commissioner) was taking action against illegal homes of the poor in slums, I alone took on the Commissioner. I even organized a meeting with NCP President Sharad Pawar to ensure that quarries were not shut down as it was your bread and butter.”

Giving an account of her accomplishments she said, “Since I have become Belapur MLA, Rs 2000 Crores have been added to the NMMC treasury. Why was revenue not increasing this way when they ruled for 15 years,” she questioned.

As election draws nearer, the fights and face off between BJP MLA Manda Mhatre and Ganesh Naik only seem to only getting fiercer.
