The municipal schools at Sewri and Vadala are going to get revamped as BMC has passed the proposal for their redevelopment at a cost of Rs 3 crore and 50 lakhs. With the percentage of students dropping out of municipal schools due to their pathetic condition and the poor quality of education, BMC has decided to make the atmosphere in municipal schools congenial. In the course, they have passed a proposal of Rs 3 crores and 50 lakhs for the redevelopment work of schools in Sewri and Vadala. Under the redevelopment plan, classes of I to IV would have new school buildings, new desks and better benches.
