BREAST CANCER CHECK UP CAMP HELD AT VASHI

breast-cancer-4A free detection breast cancer check up camp was organized at sec 29 Vashi to help the needy and economically weak women of the node. The check up programme called One Stop Breast Clinic was a clinic on wheels which have been traveling to most parts of Mumbai and now Navi Mumbai. The main aim of the check programme is to create awareness about breast cancer and its early detection in woman. Present during the check up camp as the chief guest was Mrs. R R Wagh, wife of Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Ramrao Wagh. We spoke to them about the check up camp. Also present during the camp was the ward corporator Usha Bhoir. We spoke with the organizer who threw more light on the check up camp. The next visit of the clinic bus would be to sec 28, Vashi and Kopri village to assist the economically weak woman in the nodes. With cameraperson Ravi NIkam, Sana Warsia for NMTV News.
