Taking forward the legacy of his grandfather singer Mukesh, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will be venturing into music and says he plans to release a single next year.
The “Johnny Gaddar” star has recorded nine songs, which he plans to use in his films.
“Yes I have plans. Hopefully by mid of next year I’ll release my single. I have recorded almost nine songs already.
Music is definitely the next card that I’ll open up,” Neil told PTI.
“We will use the songs in a couple of my films as well.
First, I’ll release my single, which I am working on,” he said.
The 33-year-old actor, who was last seen in “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, recently directed a TV commercial and he wishes to expand to other creative aspects of films.
“I have recently directed my first TV commercial for a tea brand, which has been shot on a mammoth scale… I have decided that as far as the creative sides of films are concerned, I’ll start opening up all my cards,” he said.
