CIDCO organizes series of progarmmes as parts of the vigilance awareness week

Following the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commission, Cidco has organized a series of progarmmes as parts of the vigilance awareness week which is being observed from Monday to Saturday.

To bring accountability to the public services, the town planning agency has started spreading awareness about vigilance week in Navi Mumbai. The key message of this campaign is ‘stop corruption and strengthen the country. Corruption is an offence to be avoided’.

To start with, CIDCO organized an inter college essay competition for various colleges of Navi Mumbai from October 14 to 27. The topic for the competition was ‘what can I do to stop corruption in the society’. The essay competition got an immense response and CIDCO received a large number of entries.

“We started its vigilance awareness campaign involving various schools and colleges of the city. Four groups have been formed to perform street plays on November 2, 3 and 4 at various nodes of Navi Mumbai including CBD Belapur, Nerul, Juinagar and Sanpada among others.

A lecture on Lokpal and Lokayuktas act, 2013 and the Whistle Blowers Protection Act, 2011, has also been organized on November 3 at Cidco head office.
