CITY GETS NEW WEEKLY NEWSPAPER

Be a part of people’s movement. This is the byline that Fourth Estate – a newly launched weekly newspaper has to tell the people. Fourth Estate is a new addition to Navi Mumbai’s press media. Unlike other newspapers, this one aims at making a medium for the people to express their views and opinions. We were present during the launch of the weekly at its new office in Vashi where a horde of well wishers were present to congratulate the Editor of the paper, Moinunddin Jeddy. A free and informative press is widely agreed to be crucial to the democratic process today and Navi Mumbai has got a new weekly newspaper called Fourth Estate. Going by the name, the newspaper is the fourth pillar of democracy, the press. Fourth Estate with the byline – Be a part of people’s movement, is the brainchild of popular city journalist Moinuddin Jeddy. The newspaper was launched recently at Vashi where many well wishers came to congratulate Moinuddin Jeddy on his endeavor. Speaking to NMTV News, the Editor of Fourth Estate, Moinuddin Jeddy spoke on his journey as a journalist and how he started off with the idea of having his own newspaper. Fourth estate is a sixteen page tabloid with every page dedicated to each section of the society. Having a big team of reporters and specialized technical designers, Moinuddin Jeddy aims at making the newspaper different from the other local newspapers in the city. During the paper launch, we also caught up with Ameer Ahmed Jeddy, a proud father who spoke on his son’s achievement. His father further recalls the time of how, Moinuddin Jeddy who was doing a CA course then, came into the field of journalism. Jeddy’s father wished him all the success on his son’s new mission. Fourth Estate brings to the readers news, views, information, fun and an opportunity to express themselves.
