Problems for residents on Palm Beach Road are multiplying by the day and every appeal and complaint to authorities are falling on deaf ears. Residents spoke to NMTV about the latest civic problem they are facing. The posh surroundings of Palm Beach where several high-class societies are located is lacking the basic clean environment of living because of NMMC, say residents. NMMC, which collects around Rs.4 crores from all these societies, has always neglected the needs of the residents of this area, they add. The area lacks a neat and clean road as the current road is used more as a dumping ground. The open plot in front of Moraj Residency and Guru Samridhi is being filled. Locals voiced the problems they face due to this. They informed our Correspondent that the roads don’t have any streetlights and so no light is available on the streets after dark. Repeated requests to NMMC, CIDCO and their local corporator have fallen on deaf ears say residents.
