Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis showered praises on Belapur MLA Manda Mhatre even as he set aside speculations of her not contesting the assembly elections from Belapur. In his address after launching the publication on MLA Manda Mhatre’s work record, he said that it is BJP’s tradition to take record of the work done by them to the people.
He appealed to MLA Manda Mhatre to ensure that her work report reaches each voters’ home so that they have an account of your work.
The Chief Minister showered praises on both Belapur MLA Manda Mhatre and Panvel MLA and CIDCO Chairman Prashant Thakur for raising issues of Navi Mumbai diligently in Vidhan Bhavan and following up the same with him aggressively.
The Chief Minister said that the outcomes of their efforts ensured that issues of PAP, gaonthan and 2.5 FSI and other pending for over 15 years of the previous government were resolved.
He went on to add that just like PM Modi has been given another chance by the people, the BJP will get another term in Maharashtra and Manda Mhatre in Belapur.
An enthusiastic Chief Minister added that before elections this year, MLA Manda Mhatre will have to add another 50 works that they will do in the coming three months.
If the speech of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is anything to go by, then speculations of BJP cancelling candidature to MLA Manda Mhatre are baseless. Also, there seems to be no merit in the talks that in the BJP Shiv Sena alliance, Vijay Nahata will be the saffron alliance candidate from Belapur this time round. In his address, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has confirmed Manda Mhatre’s candidature from Belapur while his announcement of doing many more works in Navi Mumbai before assembly elections is going to mount challenges for the NCP, who in any case in the maths of politics and number of votes, are lagging far behind in the Belapur assembly seat.
