Congress President Sonia Gandhi prefers `non-polluted’ Goa to Delhi

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has said that his mother and party president Sonia Gandhi preferred Goa over Delhi, as she feels that there is “no pollution“ in the state and the people were “very good“.

“I feel happy being in Goa.Congress president had also come here few days ago,“ Gandhi said, while addressing an election rally on Saturday at Fatorda village. “Jab Delhi wapas aayin to maine unse puchha ki kaisi hain aap, to kehti hain mai Goa wapas jaana chahti hun.(When she got back to Delhi, I asked her how she was, and she said she wanted to return to Goa),“ Rahul said.“

“Unhone kaha, mujhe Goa ki hawa achhi lagi. Goa me koi pollution nahi hai. Goa ke log bahot achhe hai. (She said she liked Goa’s air, that there is no pollution in Goa.The people of Goa are very good),“ he said.

Mid-November, Sonia Gandhi lived in a starred re sort in south Goa. During her stay, she visited private museums without any security hassles.
