Cricket world in shock following Philip Hughes death after being struck by a ball, Sydney

The whole of the cricket world is in shock. Australian cricketer Philip Hughes, 25yrs old had been struck on the head during a domestic match. Philip was batting against Sean Abbott when one throw struck Phil on head and he fell on the ground. As soon as Sean saw what happened before anyone else, he rushed to Philip’s aid, took him into his arms and kept cradling him before he was being rushed to the hospital. According to doctors, the hit on Philip’s head has led him to severe head trauma injury which happens during car accidents and which is something very rare in a game like cricket. For the past two days Philip had been battling for life, but on Thursday Philip Hughes passed away leaving behind his family, friends, fans and the whole cricket world mourning.
