DELAY IN MUMBAI MAKEOVER PROJECTS ARE TURNING AWAY INVESTORS – ADMITS CHIEF MINISTER VILASRAO DESHMUKH

cm-2Speaking on the World Economic Forum in Davos, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh admitted that foreign investors were turning away due to the delay in various Mumbai makeover projects. Addressing the media on his return from a seven-day tour to Europe where he attended the World Economic Forum at Davos, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said that although investors were keen about development projects in Mumbai, but the makeover speed of the projects were turning them away. He said that although many railway, road and water projects were underway in the city but due to no proper infrastructure, the projects were not meeting their deadline. He informed that he has appealed to many investors to invest in Maharashtra. During his tour he has also requested Germany to start plans of building an international exhibition centre.
