Difference in opinions increasing drastically between President Barack Obama and the military leaders, Washington

President Barack Obama is not a leader who believes in war and since he has taken over office from his first session till date, he has tried every possible way to hold back all actions that would involve deploying of his military troops to fight against other countries. But it seems like this thought of the President is not accepted by all, especially the military leaders. There has been many occasions when there has been disputes between decisions taken by the President that had been against what the military leaders demanded.

But this time the decision that had been taken by the President of making sure that American troops will not put enter the Islamic states like Iraq and Syria to fight terrorists their, however without putting their boots on the ground US will support and train the army in these countries to fight against terrorists. However, after General Dempsey made an open statement that despite what the President has promised, there still is a possibility that US troops will fight if the situation calls for it, which according to them it already is. Many lawmakers also criticized Obama’s decisions stating that in such matters he should at least follow the professional advice and counsel of the military, as they are the best ones suited for the job.
