Donald Trump: US to donate many ventilators to India

The coronavirus pandemic has indeed proved to be the greatest crisis of the decade by infecting a total of 4530000 people and claiming the lives of around 307,000 lives across the globe.

Meanwhile, the president of the United States of America, Donald Trump has announced in a tweet on Wednesday  that the US will donate a lot of ventilators to India to help the country to fight against the deadly pandemic. During the announcement Trump mentioned his close relationship with the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and referred him as a good friend.  Last month India allowed the export of a drug, namely hydroxychloroquine, which was used for medicinal purposes to treat the patients affected with the COVID-19.

Trump also said that the Indian-Americans were great scientists and researchers,  and are doing their best in contributing to the development of the coronavirus vaccine. According to him, the vaccine will be available by the end of the year after appointing former head of vaccines at GlaxoSmithKline to speed up and head the effort devoted to the development of the coronavirus.
