Edward Snowden, the American government contractor on the run, been offered security and shelter in Venezuela

For all those who are unaware of Edward Snowden, Edward Snowden has managed to become famous at just age 30, but maybe not in the right way. Edward had been found guilty for leaking confidential information of US intelligence, for which he had been accused of being a spy. And ever since after that Obama’s administration had laid out a worldwide manhunt after Edward. But it seems that now Venezuela has offered shelter and security to Edward Snowden.
‘I announce to the friendly governments of the world that we have decided to use international humanitarian rights to protect Snowden from the persecution that the world’s most powerful empire has leashed against a young person who has told the truth’ as been said by Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro during a speech in Caracas. Maduro had also declared that he was offering asylum to Edward so that he could live freely from the fear of persecution laid upon him by the American government.
