Efforts by authorities in vain as pro-democracy demonstrators still shows no sign of back up, Hong Kong

The authorities backed up by Hong Kong’s Beijing appointed leader Leung Chun-Ying the chief executive of the Chinese territory demanded the pro democracy demonstrators to back up immediately as he wasn’t even thinking of compromising on any terms or on any of their demands. The protesters are demanding for more open elections that would require a pro-Beijing panel to screen candidates in the territory’s first direct elections that are to be scheduled for 2017 and for Leung to step down from his authority position.
But it seems that the protesters are determined not to break up on any attempts by the officials. They have blocked most of the major roads in the city, stockpiling their supplies and erecting makeshift barricades. They are spending their night sleeping in the hub or holding vigil unharassed.
