congress-1The Mumbai North West Congress Committee had organized a workers camp at Bhaidas Hall, Vile Parle. The Mumbai North West Congress Committee’s workers meet saw the presence of Maharashtra Congress Campaign Committee’s President Gurudas Kamat, MP Priya Dutt, revenue Minister Narayan Rane, State Minister Baba Siddiqui, state assembly leader Rajeev Shukla and Mumbai Regional Congress President Kripashankar Singh. Speaking to the media MP Priya Dutt stated that the Congress government has done everything possible to not burden the common man. Giving a rebuttal on the statement passed by Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackarey during the Dassera rally that Mumbai belonged to his fathers, Revenue Minister Narayan Rane remarked that Mumbai is not just his fathers but of our fathers too. He further stated that despite 42 years of existence, the Shiv Sena has done nothing for the Marathi Manoos. On the other hand, Mumbai Regional Congress President Kripashankar Singh stated that he respected Balasaheb Thackarey and appealed to all the Congress party workers to work in accordance with the guidelines of the party.
