University students of Kenya are still traumatized with the terrorist attack that occurred a week ago in Garissa University College where 148 students were shot dead. The impact of the attack was so strong among the students of University of Nairobi Kikuyu campus that when an electricity transformer exploded in three loud bangs inside the campus, they thought that it was now their University where the gunmen have reached to attack at them. Without even thinking twice in an attempt to escape from the building and gunmen students jumped off from the windows at the University of Nairobi residence hall that was on fifth floor. The rush to get out caused a stampede within the campus in which one student died while more than 100 were reported to be seriously injured. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
