Osama Bin Laden’s three widows and two eldest daughters who were living illegally in Pakistan had been taken in custody ever since Bin Laden had been killed by the US Special Forces. They had been under trial where they charged and sentenced to 45 days in prison and a fine of 10000 Rs was also imposed on them.
From the three widows two were from Saudi Arabia and third from Yemen. All the women have already completed a month in jail and as their lawyer speaks they are very happy with the verdict and are looking forward to meeting all their relatives. Lawyer Atif Ali Khan also stated that although the talks with the Yemen government on taking back Amal Abdulfattah has gone well as they have agreed in accepting the widow and her children, there still isn’t any talks confirmed with the Saudi government. But lawyer Atif Khan assured that everything regarding with the deporting of the Saudi widows will be completed within a few days. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
