Filmmakers Upset With Decision To Probe PK

Mumbai : The film fraternity is upset with the decision of the state government to probe PK. The Aamir Khan starrer is facing protests across the country by right-wing groups for hurting religious sentiments.

Bollywood feels that such a decision does not reflect well on the authority of the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which approves release of all movies. It may be noted that both Supreme Court and the Censor Board have rejected demands to delete objectionable scenes in the movie.

The police is yet to receive clear diktats on what is to be investigated.
