Ganesh Naik calls Corporator Munawar Patel as the next Navi Mumbai’s Minority Leader

One of the corporators to have contested a nail-biting contest in last municipal polls, hands down was Munawer Patel. Till the moment he had not filed his nominations, it was unsure if he would even contest. It’s another story that he contested, won and has steadily performed to be seen as one of the performing NCP corporators in NMMC and today is the Chairman of NMMC’s Sports & Cultural Committee. However, the last event organized at Khairane village has further elevated the position that Munawer Patel holds in NCP and risen his ranks among the debutant corporators in Navi Mumbai. The event marked the inauguration of several public works at the hands of former Minister Ganesh Naik. The event once again brought the bond the Naik family shares with Bonkode and Khairane alive. So much that Ganesh Naik too recalled the memories the Naik family shares with the Patel family for over 50 years for spreading communal harmony and brotherhood.

He recalled the association between his grandfathers and the senior late members of the Patel family.

Ganesh Naik said that Munawer Patel’s father worked on his advice, and Munawer Patel, though a Sandeep Naik confidante, too works on Ganesh Naik’s advice.

Ganesh Naik said that his passion is to love people beyond any boundaries.

He said that they don’t believe in politics of “Votes & Notes” but sharing a direct connect with people.

Ganesh Naik voiced confidence that Munawer Patel will live upto the legacy that his father and forefathers have left behind of doing public works.

He went on to shower praises on Munawer Patel’s conduct as a corporator.

Ganesh Naik further appealed to people to not be misled by false promises.

The praises by Ganesh Naik and event held at Khairane has strengthened Munawer Patel’s position as a sober, educated and youth face NCP in Navi Mumbai. And makes him one of the future minority leaders in Navi Mumbai to watch out for. Bureau report – NMTV News.
