Many were waiting for the moment when Ganesh Naik would enter BJP officially in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and BJP Maharashtra President Chandrakant Patil. And it finally happened in a ceremony held at Vashi that was all about grand show of strength. As thousands gathered to witness the moment, all awaited to hear what Ganesh Naik would say as he shifted from the anti-Modi brigade to the pro-Modi brigade. In a complete contrast of his earlier public outbursts on PM Modi, Ganesh Naik showered praises and glorified PM Modi for his daring and courage from the word go. Ganesh Naik first commended Prime Minister Modi for being a global leader who had made the world respect and admire India.

He then hailed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah’s decision to scrap Article 370 and bind the nation with one constitution.

Ganesh Naik said that Maharashtra has always been one of the most progressive states of the country but never has the state seen a Chief Minister like Devendra Fadnavis.

He added that while the Maharashtra is facing a challenge of an economic meltdown, CM Devendra Fadnavis had ensured that the state continued to grow.

Ganesh Naik said that he was born in Navi Mumbai and his leadership happened in the city but he will forever have deep regret that in 15 years of being a Minister he could not regularize PAPs homes, redevelopment of CIDCO dilapidated homes and bringing SRA to Navi Mumbai. And the regret for the same will stay forever.

He again lauded the Devendra Fadnavis’s performance since he took over as Chief Minister and assured that he will continue to work for the progressive and secular fabric of Navi Mumbai.
