Ganesh Naik leads Navi Mumbai to win #1 Rank as cleanest city in Maharashtra

Navi Mumbai beats Mumbai, Thane and even Pune to win as the cleanest city in Maharashtra while ranking 3rd in the country during the Swachh Survekshan Awards 2020. The central government’s cleanliness survey declared Navi Mumbai as ‘Cleanest City’ in Maharashtra.

NAVI MUMBAI JUMPS UP RANK TO EMERGE 3rD CLEANEST CITY OF INDIA
Indore was adjudged India’s cleanest city in this central government’s cleanliness survey while Surat ranked 2nd and Navi Mumbai came in 3rd in India rankings. The cleanliness awards are given by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and were announced by the Union Housing & Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri in a ceremony.

HATS OFF TO NAVI MUMBAI’S CLEANERS, SWEEPERS & SANITARY WORKERS
While leaders lead and citizens play the role of being responsible towards city cleanliness, hands down the most integral part of any cleanliness drive is played by the cleaners, sweepers and sanitary workers. They toil, no matter what, from heat to rain to even COVID times, to ensure that the city remains clean, green and hygienic.

Another leader whose role cannot be undermined in any win for Navi Mumbai is Ganesh Naik. These corporators, work from ward to ward and node to node, under the leadership of Ganesh Naik to ensure that the city always creates enviable standards of progress, development and even cleanliness.

And the trend continues as along with citizens, Ganesh Naik has again steered a movement of cleanliness in Navi Mumbai leading NMMC, its officials and cleaning workers across Navi Mumbai to bring this feat to the city.
