Ganesh Naik Vijay Chougule grand Mano Milan scripts history in Navi Mumbai

#GaneshNaik #VijayChougule #Manomilan

It was the moment of a decade when Vijay Chougule surprised everyone by joining the Ganesh Naik rally to file nomination midway. What surprised everyone present more was that former MLA Sandeep Naik made way for Vijay Chougule to take blessings of Ganesh Naik and give him a floral welcome ahead of it.

THE GURU GANESH NAIK AND DISCIPLE VIJAY CHOUGULE BOND
Vijay Chougule started off as a party worker of Ganesh Naik when his political career was in a nascent stage. As years passed, Vijay Chougule became Ganesh Naik’s closest confidante. And the story of this guru-disciple relationship became popular in political circuits to the extent that many vouched Vijay Chougule could go to any extent on one word of Ganesh Naik.

WHEN GANESH NAIK AND VIJAY CHOUGULE PARTED WAYS
The intensity of the Ganesh Naik and Vijay Chougule relationship took a turn when both Vijay Chougule and Sandeep Naik were elected to NMMC in 2004. And two power centers led to clashes such that ultimately in one meeting called by Ganesh Naik, an angry Vijay Chougule staged a walk out. This was nearly 11 years ago. As was expected, they both became sworn enemies fighting against each other tooth and nail until the last elections. And if there was one political party that benefited from this political war in Navi Mumbai, it was Shiv Sena.

VIJAY CHOUGULE GAVE SHIV SENA A NEW LEASE OF LIFE IN NAVI MUMBAI
On quitting his guru’s camp in NCP, Vijay Chougule took refuge in Shiv Sena. And overnight the otherwise extremely weak Shiv Sena in Navi Mumbai, got a strong leadership with a ready-made following of his own. He proved his worth to the Shiv Sena in municipal elections 2014, when he got 19 out of the 26 Shiv Sena corporators elected from Airoli constituency to NMMC. And went on to become the Leader of Opposition in NMMC.

VIJAY CHOUGULE’S EMOTIONS THAWED WAY BEFORE GANESH NAIK ENTERED BJP
It was over the last 2 years that one started hearing Vijay Chougule soften his stand for Ganesh Naik openly and even acknowledge the role his guru played in his political career. And when he got an opportunity, he went on to do it on the recorded platform of the NMMC General Body meeting after being appointed Chairman of Wadar community board. He continued his efforts to appease Ganesh Naik by inviting him to the inauguration ceremony of the Wadar Bhavan. Ganesh Naik however skipped the event that was attended by both Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray.

GANESH NAIK’S GAIN is VIJAY NAHATA’S LOSS
When Vijay Nahata entered the Navi Mumbai Shiv Sena, he had the mass strength of Vijay Chougule and if they had tuned his administrative experience with Vijay Chougule’s muscle power, they could have become a challenge to reckon with but that was not to happen. In fact, Vijay Nahata and Vijay Chougule became two different camps within Shiv Sena, which weakened the party. In fact, their hostilities grew to such an extent that Vijay Chougule increased proximity with the BJP.

VIJAY CHOUGULE COULD MAKE GANESH NAIK’S ‘VIJAY’ A HISTORIC WIN
The more than 11 years of enmity between the estranged guru and his disciple ended on October 4 2019 as Ganesh Naik reached Airoli to file his nominations and Vijay Chougule was present to welcome him. And their ‘manomilan’ stole all the limelight from the nomination filing day. The way they met, they spoke and their comfortable body language with each other was proof that their bond is perhaps beyond their differences. This also became the most talked about and reported headline of the day. Within the Naik camp and Chougule camp there is jubilance about it. They know that Ganesh Naik’s fresh start in BJP requires to prove to the top leadership his might in the region and the fact that Vijay Chougule has entered the Naik camp at this point, is advantage BJP leader Ganesh Naik. #ZebaWarsia – NMTV News
