Navi Mumbai saw this proverb come into being when the city faced the much heated brunt of the COVID pandemic rattling its healthcare system and upending the very hand to mouth situation for the livelihoods of citizens across Navi Mumbai
It was then when the city’s much beloved leader Former Minister and Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik took upon himself the allegiance to offer citizens the much needed relief amid times of crisis as such.

Ganesh Naik’s resilience and his fearless persona has in times past won over citizens reverring him to be called the Guardian of Navi Mumbai.
At a time when COVID made the elderly group most vulnerable and highest at risk, it was this time when Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik stepped out taking on the people’s cause and went beyond his stature this time round by setting his foot inside the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation breaking a 25 year hiatus.
Ganesh Naik’s this persistent zeal acclaimed him to be an inspiration across all party lines during a time when many renowned leaderships went missing and lacked the training they needed to succeed.
The pandemic soon made Ganesh Naik’s COVID handling the talk of the town, his diligence in personally taking forward social and city concerns with the NMMC Chief Abhijit Bangar became a weekly trend thereby revolutionising the idea of Janta Darbaar days and transcending it in COVID times availing both corporators and citizens in reaching out to their guardian with their unresolved issues.
Ganesh Naik went head on in addressing some of Navi Mumbai’s most pressing issues and has not stopped till date ushering hope within the masses to keep going on until all demands are timely met.

GANESH NAIK TAKES STOCK OF COVID ARRANGEMENTS MADE AT VASHI’S NMMC HOSPITAL:
Becoming the first leader to step in taking stock of the COVID arrangements for patients at Vashi’s NMMC Hospital, Ganesh Naik’s concerned visit revealed the city’s not-so-proper health care system While Ganesh Naik was on this visit, citizens present on ground approached him with their problems and worries and while he ardently heard and addressed them all little did he know that he had donned the hat of Navi Mumbai’s Saviour journeying the way of liberating this city from the pandemic.

GANESH NAIK VISITS NMMC SET COVID CARE CENTER AT VASHI:
NMMC set up it’s first COVID care center for aiding virus affected patients at Sector 14 in Vashi, Ganesh Naik amid addressing all major civic issues made it a point in visiting this COVID care centre in gauging the working arrangements laid down by the civic body.

DISTRIBUTION OF MASKS AND SANITIZERS ACROSS 111 WARDS OF NAVI MUMBAI:
Even as Coronavirus continued its spread across the city, virus led panic caused essentials like masks and sanitizers to go disappearing from shop shelves, perceiving the panic buying and assuring that his citizens do not fall prey to hoarding and black marketing of essentials, Ganesh Naik ensured supply of masks and sanitizers making them available across the 111 wards of Navi Mumbai.

GANESH NAIK LED GRAIN DISTRIBUTION DRIVE ACROSS 111 WARDS OF NAVI MUMBAI:
At a time when the pandemic took a heavy toll on several households of the city, Ganesh Naik organised the largest food supply drive in Navi Mumbai making available food grains to needy and the poor of 111 wards of Navi Mumbai.

GANESH NAIK HOLDS WEEKLY VISITS WITH NMMC CHIEF ABHIJIT BANGAR:
Considering the administrative rule on the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Ganesh Naik being in part with the system aims to resolve issues for the citizens by conducting weekly visits, suggesting the civic body chief with timely developments needed in different wards, with 17 successful weekly meets conducted till date, a relentless Ganesh Naik has taken up demands to ace this pandemic and bring disruptions under control.

Conducting rigorous follow ups on a weekly basis, Former Minister and Airoli MLA Ganesh Naik along with Mayor JD Sutar, Former MP Sanjeev Naik, Former MLA Sandeep Naik and his Youth Brigade and Party Workers have put forth a united front in visibly being the only party working from the frontline during a pandemic and yet remains unstoppable in demanding speedy redressal to the citizens worrying issues.

GANESH NAIK GOES ON AN INSPECTION VISIT TO MIDC:
While the pandemic has hit low Navi Mumbai’s employment turf of MIDC, Ganesh Naik’s visit during this hour was a much needed one, he passed on demands instructing MIDC authorities to transfer plots reserved for public and social facilities to Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
Upholding the welfare of the citizens Ganesh Naik urged redevelopment of slums to be done through SRA while intimating priorities to be given to PAPs among other demands.

GANESH NAIK TAKES SCRUTINY OF AIROLI-KATAI BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION:
The Airoli-Katai bridge is an elevated stretch connecting Kalyan-Dombivali to Mumbai and Navi Mumbai which at the moment is shut for repairs for a complete overhaul.
The much awaited project is a development structuring initiative of Former AIroli MLA Sandeep Naik for connecting and dynamising the flying era of Navi Mumbai and while Ganesh took stock of it, he demanded for speedy construction of the same.

GANESH NAIK EMBARKS A TOUR TO AIROLI’S BIODIVERSITY CENTER:
Ever since the establishment of the Airoli’s Biodiversity Center, it has been grabbing all the city’s attention and has become a delightful haven for city’s bird lovers.
Keeping its significance in mind, Ganesh Naik called out for measures in preserving the city’s biodiversity and the flamingo visits thereby ensuring adequate arrangements for festivities coming along way.

Ganesh Naik’s leadership abilities were tried in a pandemic like crisis facing the extremes, his efforts striving for Navi Mumbaikars every week and beyond has come forth well acknowledged. Ganesh Naik continues in maintaining this steady approach in navigating his team forward for vouching on developments and solutions, while yielding results in paving the road map for Navi Mumbai’s future developments.
