A senior citizen sits on the Palm Beach Road displaying his wares some dating back to the 70s. One can see a rare treat, the gramophone, a treasured musical instrument of the past here. K Moiuddin, a senior citizen brings antique pieces from Mumbai and displays it on the Palm Beach Road. While Moiuddin sits in a small stall on the road, his collection includes some rare treat like the telephone and binoculars. However, one item that will definitely catch your eyes is the musical instrument of the 70s – the gramophone. The gramophone was a craze in the British period and at that time came for a costly price. It was generally seen in the most elite houses. Another item that Mouinddin has is an old fashioned binocular, which was used in war both on ship and on land. Amongst his wares, one would also find an antique compass which was used by travelers in the ancient times for direction. Mouinddin says that these items are more than 50 years old. So if you want to decorate your home with some of these antique rare treats, drive down to palm Beach road and you sure wont miss a guy sitting, displaying his wares of a time that was.
