The semi-finals and finals of 61st Junior National Basketball Championship ended with a bang. The Grand finale of weeklong saw the victory of the boys of Punjab and girls of Kerala. The weeklong 61st Nationals Basketball Championship witnessed enthusiasm, teamwork, balanced coaching, mind-set to win and competitive spirit of the teams. The day of the finals saw the girls of Maharashtra battling against Kerala and the boys of Punjab Batting against Tamil Nadu. The match between the girls team of Maharashtra and Kerala saw the advantage of the latter team from the first quarter itself. The Kerela girls beat the Maharashtra girls winning a trophy and cash price of Rs 1 lakh. On the other hand, the boys match between Punjab and Tamil Nadu turned out to be the head to toe struggle. The agile Tamil players and tall Punjab boys kept the spectators glued to tehri seats for the entire match. In the first three quarters both the teams maintained competitive score on the scoreboard, and it wasn’t until the last thrilling few seconds when the winner of the finals was ascertained. The last quarter was finished with the scoreboard of Punjab 75 to Tamil Nadu 70. The Punjabi tall guys lifted the trophy and cash prize of 1 lakh. The Director of Fr.
