After the inhuman and brutal attacks in which open firing had been carried out in an school where lives of 26 first graders were lost, US government are taking strict measures to curb the illegal use of weapons. However, it seems that the talks are still not reaching any point as it hadn’t years ago. Some demand ban on various dangerous weapons, while some don’t support the idea of banning at all. But it seems that a proposal that had been made years ago by Senators Joe Manchin III and Patrick J. Toomey now seems to be more sensible than any other recommendations.
The idea was that a thorough and expanded federal background information of every gun purchasers covering all commercial sales, gun shows and even online. With following this act, the authority would be able to keep a complete track of anybody who deals with arms big or small. Most of the Americans had supported this idea long back and it seems that the majority of people are still supporting it. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
