Heavy rain in Colorado resulted in deadly flood throughout the mountainous region with fear of crossing more than the danger mark

Heavy rain in Colorado has resulted in deadly flood throughout the region. Muddy water falling from the mountain rivers and creeks has turned the towns into muddy swamps. The residents are facing power failure since a long time with no sight of relief yet. Evacuation had been carried out in Boulder Creek and South Boulder Creek which are home to thousands of people. The officials had advised the people to move to higher grounds as the debris and mud that had been falling from the mountainsides have backed up water at the mouth of Boulder canyon, because of which the creek had been rising very rapidly. Making matters worse in some areas the pressure of rain water had caused sewer grates to erupt into huge black geysers.
So far no death had been reported, only three people missing, but that too are believed to be stranded in the flood. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
