INDIAN BEATS IRAN TO LIFT KABADDI WORLD CUP

Indian created waves in Kabaddi World Cup Tournament – held for the 1st time in Navi Mumbai at Panvel’s Karnala Sports Academy. The India team beat the team from Iran by 10 points to win the Kabaddi World Cup finals held at Karnala Sports Academy, Panvel. This is the second time that the world cup has been lifted by the Indian team. While the Indian reached a 10 on the scoreboard, the team from Iran was nil, however close to the first half, the Iranian team came back into the game as the scoreboard read 13-12. India came back in the second half with a bang and went on to score 29 against the 19 of the Iranian team. Manpreet Singh and Rakesh Kumar’s stole the show and were applauded by the audience for the magic they were creating on the playground. Navi Mumbai News shared a few words with the winning Capt. The winners were later awarded at the hands of the President of the Karnala Sports Academy – MLA Vivek Patil in the presence of MLC Manda Mhatre. Navi Mumbai News spoke to the hosts MLA Vivel Patil.
