The bond of marriage is said to be for lifetime. But a 60 year old couple of Chembur are tying their knots again as they are planning to go for a world tour. And they have been asked to do so reportedly by the Indian Embassy. The couple Jaishankar Chetti & Lalita Chetti have been married for 28 years in a small city of Tamil Nadu. However, since they hail from a rural side of the nation, little did they know that without a marriage certificate their rites and rituals are not considered to be good enough legally. Hence when the couple reached the Indian Embassy, they were informed that according to government rules they cannot be permitted for any world tour unless they produced a marriage certificate. So there it was – either the couple could drop their plans of the tour of get married again – and they have decided to do the latter. The highlight for their second marriage is that the Chaiti’s 2 sons, 2 daughters and daughter in law will be the witnesses of their second marriage. A NMTV Bureau Report.
