January 1 declared holiday in UAE

Dubai : The UAE has announced January 1 a holiday for both government and private sector. The UAE Ministry of Labour issued a circular stating that the same.

Meanwhile, the Federal Authority for Human Resources also announced that public sector entities in the country, including ministries and federal institutions, will remain closed on January 1.

UAE is one of the most visited destination on New Years by tourists around the world. The fireworks at Burj Khalifa, the tallest iconic structure of the world, is the most visited venue to user in New Year in the UAE.
