Journalists faces the wrath of the disturbed relationship between China and US, Beijing

Once again an incident comes forward in which the China government targets American journalists in their country. Even after working for six years for the Times magazine in China, journalist Austin Ramzy was not given a journalist visa. According to the Press Secretary Jay Carney, the journalists are continuously facing some or the other kind of restriction in China. The reason could be that the reporters of the Times magazine take daring steps to reveal facts about the wealth and corruption among Communist leaders, which in turn is highly disapproved by the China government and that’s the reason why the journalists in China are facing some or the other kind of restriction which is completely opposite to how the reporters from China are treated in US.

However, China government had ruled out any such actions against journalists in their country stating that the only reason for deporting journalist Austin Ramzy from their country was because he had violated Chinese regulations. He travelled to their country on his previous unexpired visa while waiting for a new one. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
