Speaking on the issues of inflation at a recent function, Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar stated that the government to check on hoarders first. Addressing the audience at an event organised by the Transport and Dock Workers Union, Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar stated that the Maharashtra Government should take action against hoarders in a bid to curb price rise. He also stressed the need for protecting the Mumbai Port Trust and defended its expansion plans. Responding to the Union’s Secretary S R Kulkarni’s remarks that he wished the NCP chief was made Prime Minister, he said his aim was not to become the PM but to serve the people.
