A huge crowd gathered at the venue to bless the newly weds. Every marriage today sees parents spending lots of time energy and money. Very often, the poor also take loans to get their daughters married and become victims of debts. This mass marriage every year by the Shree Govardhini Saravjanik Seva Sanstha to support parents in getting their children married is a blessing for them. Speaking to Navi Mumbai News, the President of the Shree Govardhini Saravjanik Seva Sanstha – MLC Manda Mhatre stated that even if each one organization holds such marriages, then it would go a long way in helping the poor and downtrodden.
