Murders in Nepal over possession of the mummified body of caterpillars

Claiming over the possession of a rare type of caterpillar fungus led to the murder of seven people. Six men who were accused of charges of these murders were all given life sentence, including two villagers who were also sent to jail for being partners in crime.

The fungus which is also known as ‘ The Himalayan Viagra’ has also become a major source of income for the poor Himalayan people, as this fungus is high in demand in China and is highly prized in terms of money.
