NAVI MUMBAI MUNCIPAL HOSPITAL AND IDBI BANK CONDUCT BLOOD DONATION CAMP IN AID OF 7/11

Following the bomb blasts that rocked Mumbai, thousands of hands came forward to render help when terror struck the city. In the course IDBI bank, CBD Belapur carried out a blood donation camp to help the victims. Along with Navi Mumbai Municipal Hospital’s blood donation centre, IDBI bank joined hands to carry out a blood donation camp for the victims of the Mumbai blast. Where on one side the unfortunate incident brought about 180 deaths, more than 500 people were injured. Those injured in the blasts were admitted and are being treated in various hospitals in Mumbai but the biggest challenge of the hospitals is to meet the demand for blood. The state had called for the people to come forward and donate blood in large numbers to meet this demand. Keeping this in mind, the blood donation camp was organized at CBD Belapur. Many bank employees, officials, NMMC officials and the local people came out in large numbers to actively participate in this blood donation camp.
