The Navi Mumbai Police has busted a racket involved in doing adulteration of milk from Darave village and Shirawne village. While all forms of adulteration pose as a major threat to the health of citizens, milk adulteration is the worst perhaps. Cases of adulteration seem to be on a rise. To tackle this, the Navi Mumbai police were on their alert and have successfully bust a racket involved in adulteration of milk in Darave and Shirawne village. The gang adulterated milk of popular brands like Warana and Amul. They used the syringe to perform the act of adulteration. The police has recovered 230 liters of adulterated milk from the gang. The accused have been booked under sections 420, 272, 273 and the food and drug adulteration act Sections 7 and 14.
