Kharghar’s National institute of fashion Technology is celebrating its annual festival Spectrum 2010. Topics ranging from movies to food to sports, the students of the institute showed their creative talents keeping the rich tradition of India at the backdrop. Vrushali Chitre joins the festive moods of the college and reports. National Institute of Fashion Technology celebrated their annual festival Spectrum 2010 with innovation, creativity and ingenuity. Keeping the rich tradition and culture of India at the backdrop, the students of the college celebrated the festival with the theme Brand India. The entire college was decorated in Indian style. The students displayed their exhibits under various topics which included movies, tourism, music, food, language and sports. We also spoke to Rupa Agarwal, the associate professor of the institute who gave us more insight of the festival. For the institute, it was a double celebration as this year marked the silver jubilee celebrations of the institute. The festival will be holding many more fun activities and games like debate competition, declamation, dance, sports, Rock band show and fashion show.
